Looking for Contributors
Togo working

Hey all, I’m back home and working to make Paklan better for you. So I’m looking for craftspeople/reporters interested in contributing. As always, craftspeople deserve to be paid, so I will, in cash or tools. If you know someone who might be a good fit please pass this along.

I’m looking for pitches for the advice column from people with professional experience or similar sharing advice on techniques related to East Asian wood craft.

—Immediately a reporter to cover the Maine woodworking festival this weekend.

—Craftspeople and designers interested in designing, drafting, drawing and doing CAD for project plans.

—Chinese, Japanese, Korean translators for excerpts from old woodworking texts, finding and sharing nuggets of technique and design

—Craftspeople who are also able to work as media people and journalists capable of telling stories of working in craft and sharing advice that comes from those experiences.

—I’m open to more ideas if you have them.

I’m less interested in thought pieces and philosophy, and more interested in useful and interesting stories and information. Helping people grow as craftspeople is important to me.

How about you?
