Tak's Zen Chair in Hawaii

Late Nov, I flew home for a few days to make some keisaku for Chozen-ji's December sesshin, and to let my teacher Tak Yoshino stay at my house. He brought a special version of one of his Zen chairs with different-shaped legs. Because they are sized to the cm for each person, the Zen chair is the most comfortable chair I have ever sat on, kind to the body and firmly supportive in the right place. Tak's Zen chair is on display in Downtown Arts Center in Honolulu, at a furniture show running through December 20th.
